Vintage Large French Heavy thick hand Cut Crystal Woman''s Jewelry Box, Antique Vanity Box or also Trinket box. The elegant lion paw feet make this piece unusual and special. This has brilliant hand cut glass that is very light reflective and beautiful. The hinges and findings are all a gold brass that adds to the sparkle value of the piece. It is in the vintage Baccarat "style" of Jewelry Box.
This can also hold decorative objects or even flowers with the lid open and will look lovely in a Victorian, Baroque, French Countryside to many other decors. Other uses are as a candy box, desk accessory holder or even to hold change.

It has an elegant quilted pattern with a starburst cut on the bottom. The way the piece is cut light reflects thru it beautifully. This box would be from the mid to late 1950''s and measures: 4 3/8 inches tall x 7 inches in width x 5 inches deep, this is with the feet. The box alone measures: 4 inches tall x 6.25 inches wide x 4.25 inches deep.
